Aria POV

My father’s question surprised me. How did he know? I couldn’t reply to that, even if the person who asked me was my father. He was just Beta Jason to me now, Alpha Jackson’s most trusted man. He would not keep my secret to himself.

I kept silent and my father looked at me intensely.

“Sorry, Aria. I shouldn’t have asked. Please keep in mind that if you ever need anything, Gloria and I will be there for you. That reminds me; my mate asked me to invite you to our house tomorrow. She wants to see you.” He smiled at me and turned to leave.

“Thank you, Beta. You can tell your mate that I will come after practice,” I replied and he nodded.
