Chapter 49. Date

I walk down, ready for this date outside to prove I know how to use a bow and arrow. Getting to the bottom of the stairs, he is waiting for me. The cameras are far enough back that they can't hear us.

“Where’s Kellan?”

“I was about to ask you the same thing.” He glances at me but doesn’t seem worried. “So he didn’t tell you either, then?”
