Chapter 18

Anastasia finally plucked up the courage to go to the nurseries to check them out.

Julia was accompanying her again. They set out a list of everything that needed to be checked out in the nursery and left early in the morning to try and get through two of the three. This was a job that someone else would usually do and just report back to her, but it was advised that she should do it to gain experience and let people know her around the pack.

It was one of the five in the pack, each of them pretty big with multiple classrooms for different ages. When she walked towards the door, she realized that it was as big as the normal school in her old pack. That was a lot of tiny pups. Only a small handful of pups were in that early, no career in sight when they entered. The pups all stared at them when they went into the playroom, eyeing Anastasia with wonder.
