Chapter 25
Suddenly, Ian quietly raised his flute again, without looking away, and his lips silently spoke her name.
Eden. Then they curled into a mischievous smile that made his eyes shine.
This simple exchange warmed the omega's heart. Suddenly she felt special, and was ready to give a dinner party for the king himself.
It was 10 p.m. Ian was escorting his guests out, thinking that the end of this kind of evening was always tricky: if you left too early, you seemed to heavily emphasize that the bride and groom were waiting for their wedding night; and if you lingered, you became awkward. Not easy... slyly, he looked at Eden, who was smiling at Iris.
She had done very well. Confidence would come with experience, but Eden had a kind of natural grace, as well as a genuine interest in others, that made all the difference.
