Lola's POV 

    When I opened my eyes, I saw Adrian sitting on the sofa, casually reading through some documents and I was perplexed. 

     Was I not out of it for long? I made to get out of bed which brought his attention to me. He smiled at me and dropped the document in his hands before striding over to me calmly. 

     “Look at who finally decided to wake up”, he teased me with a smile on his face and I became confused. “Huh? Was I out of it for long?” I asked him. “Not really, you were just asleep for 2 days”, he said like it was the most normal thing in the universe.
