Daddy was surprised when I told him that I would temporarily leave Lunar Furs. He advised me to talk to Henry, but I didn't back down. At first, he disagreed, but I used a technique to make it difficult for him to refuse. I only blamed him for forcing me to marry Henry even though the man wasn't ready.

"Whatever issues you two have, discuss them and be a couple," Daddy suggested.

"You forced us to get married right away, Daddy. But he doesn't want to," I blamed him.

"Are you blaming me?"

"Yes, why not? You really forced me. You didn't even give me a chance to refuse. It would have been better if Henry loved me," I said.

"He loves you," he insisted.

"I don't think so. I don't feel that he loves me," I said, and he sighed deeply. "But is it true that he loves me? Did he tell you that?"

"No, but I'm a man, Chloe, and I know he loves you. Maybe he's just not good with flowery words, but I know he loves you."
