JaeHwa was sitting on the small sofa made of brown and torn fabric. There was a cloth covering probably more tears and he thought of how his mother had been living all those years.

Her mother was still as beautiful as Him remembered, but Him was thinner, with dark circles under her eyes and looking tired, a little stooped and sad.
