Chapter 30
Hayoon tapped her foot once more on the ground. I was nervous, of course.
"Mom, why?"
"Do you really need a reason to come over to your parents' house?"
"Yes, you do. Every time I go there, everything ends in a fight..."
"Just come, Hayoon. We're your family, you need to at least show a little interest."
As if I was the only one who should show interest, Hayoon thought.
"All good."
"At seven, don't be late."
"But I have-" And without even saying goodbye, the woman hung up. "Class... sucks!"
Hayoon huffed and threw her cell phone onto the couch.
It's not like her mom cared much if he missed class or not, it was the gay son's dance class she was ashamed of, obvious to Park she wouldn't care at all.
It was still five in the afternoon, so Hayoon didn't mind just lying on the couch until it was half past six.
