"Are you okay?" Darren moved back from the embrace, quickly checking Kyley's body for injuries or wounds of any kind as he asked.

What she did just now was very risky and he still feared that Jason might have hurt her someway. After all, Kyley was just an omega. She's weak.

Kyley still staring in a lost daze at Jason's dead body moved her gaze to meet Darren. "I killed him..." she muttered in a low tone.

Darren hearing this froze and looked at Kyley warmly. He reached a palm to cup her face.

"You did the right thing Kyley. Besides, you saved me." Darren said to her in a tone full of gratitude. He reached to cup her face warmly.

Feeling his warm touch, Kyley couldn't help but raise her gaze to look at him. Her pale blue iris reflected his well outlined face under the moonlight. Her eyes watered and she broke into tears as she jumped into his embrace.
