Chapter 28
Gamma Harris sat on the floor on a big pillow with a file open in front of him. He was just done arranging the furniture in the room; he got rid of the previous beta's clothes and belongings and arranged the room to his taste. The large bed below the window overlooked another busy city below him. He put a table just beside the bed with a lamp on top of it. There was a television screen on the walls at the feet of his bed, a refrigerator just beside the door, and a hanger a few inches beside it. He had served as the pack's gamma for almost six years now, and he was excited about his new position even though he knew he didn't get it in a proper way. It was all thanks to Alina, who had managed to accuse Beta Steven, who was now dead, and make him the next person in line for that position.
