Chapter 46
Fanny woke up with a terrible headache.
She briefly wondered if this was a dream, but the pain in her body was proof enough for her to know that she wasn’t dreaming.
Bringing her palm to her mouth, she could even feel her lips swell slightly, most likely from sucking and impatient kisses.
When she remembered what had only happened the night before, her tears began to flow again as she curled up into herself, wishing she could disappear.

She almost felt betrayed thinking about last night.
All his actions, his touches, and his caresses were the reason she uttered those words.

Twisting in bed, Fanny glanced toward the window and noticed that it seemed to be a beautiful day outside, sunlight illuminating her entire room as if mocking her depressed energy.
