Sophie’s POV

“Marry me again, Sophie.”

My eyes widened. “W-What?”

He looked directly into my eyes. “Marry me again.”

“Vincent, are you serious? We’re still married anyway. You haven’t filed for a divorce, right?”

“That marriage was fake. I only married you because I wanted someone to entertain me, but this time, I want it to be a real marriage. I want us to start all over again. I want you to marry me again, Sophie. I want you to spend the rest of your life by my side. Will you marry me?” He was looking straight into my eyes while he was saying all of those things. There, I could see the sincerity in his eyes.

My heart was beating really fast, and I could feel tears starting to fill my eyes. It was as if everything around us disappeared.
