Lance’s POV

“Where did you go, Lance?”

I was surprised when I saw my mom sitting on the couch in my living room as soon as I entered.

I looked at her. “Mom, you’re here. I just went to a boutique.”

“Boutique?”

“I went to a group fitting with Vincent’s men,” I said while smiling. I could still remember what happened a while ago.

Mom stood up and furrowed her brows at me. “Fitting for what?”

“Vincent and Sophie are getting married next month.”

“What?”

“You don’t know about that yet?”

She shook her head. “No. But why are they getting married?”

“Mom, of course, because they love each other.”
