Sophie’s POV

“You know what, Sophie? Vincent has been really hard-headed boy back then. He only listens to me, and I am the one who always tells him what to do. He was so dependent on me back then, but look at him now, he’s all grown up. I can’t even recognize him anymore.”

Monica has been talking a lot since we arrived here at Vincent’s mansion. She volunteered to help me make bruschetta, but it turned out that I was just her apprentice because she did it all, and she didn’t even give me any tasks to do.

She put the bread in the oven and looked at me again. “V never loved other girls except me. Before I left, he confessed to me and said how much he loved me. He was so shy. But at that time, Lance was the one I loved. So I dumped him and told him the truth.”
