Autumn
Just when I felt my whole life completed, something had to ruin it. More like, some people.
“We cannot accept you as our king and queen. You lied to us!” Reece let out. He was the Shadow executive.
“Nor will we,” Tanner spoke on the behalf of the entire Silver.
“Well, we are sorry,” I said. “We are very sorry that we lied to you. It was for the betterment of the gangs. If you knew that we didn’t like each other, none of you would have obeyed us.”
“Yes,” Steven mumbled. “But now, they like each other. There shouldn’t be a problem anymore.”
Ian stayed silent this entire time. He just intertwined our hands. We were sitting in the meeting room. Our gangs found the truth of this being a contract marriage.
It was our fault. Our parents told us to pretend to be lovey-dovey at least in front of the gang. But we couldn’t complete that simple task. We ended up putting each other at gunpoint.
