Chapter 19

Jade POV

I opened my eyes slowly, looking around. My head hurt pretty badly. I looked around and realised I was in my room at Saint's house. The memory of me losing consciousness jogged back making me sigh. 

“You're awake.” I heard Saint say from beside me to my utmost surprise. 

“Yeah.” I nodded gently. “My head still hurts.”

He stretched slowly. “It would be gone in no time, don't worry too much.”

He was still wearing his black shirt and trousers from the party and looked stressed. Like he had been awake for a long time and I saw treatment equipment on the table there. I noticed I was out of my dress also and now in a comfortable T-shirt, I didn't remember owning. 

“I changed you... The dress seemed uncomfortable to sleep in.” He said rubbing the back of his head. 

“Thanks,” I replied, knowing he had seen me naked already and there was nothing really to hide.
