Chapter 85

Jade POV

The box of tissues was almost empty as I grabbed yet another one and blew out my nose in it. Then I grabbed one more and dabbed my eyes with it. I sniffed severally, making me almost choke on my breath and I knew one annoying headache was going to come later. 

“You're the one that suggested leaving, Why are you crying your eyes out,” Betty asked gently as she sat beside me, patting my back. 

“I...I thou... ught maybe h...he would stop me,” I sobbed before sniffing. 

I was at her house now. I had called her to come pick me up after I got dropped off at the bar and I've been crying ever since I got into the car and we arrived at her house.

“Yeah, that's some shitty behaviour from him for letting you leave.” Betty agreed.
