Chapter 104. His Threats

Zahra's heart jumped into her throat. Her body began to shiver as they got near the door. She never thought that her first time visiting his office would be like this—drenched in terror, with tight knots forming in her stomach.

She was terrified. She didn't want to go. She didn't want to face him. She didn't want to face what he had in store for her. She had already seen his worst side on the night she was forced into this marriage.
