Chapter 117. Panic Attack
She shook her head vigorously, her eyes widened like saucers. She tried to release her arm from his tight hold, but all in vain. Danger bells were ringing in her ears. The mere thought of an encounter with him had made her cry before, and now he was standing in front of her in all his glory. His tall entourage towered over her. He looked like the man whose tales were whispered in towns. The man from whom everyone was supposed to protect themselves.
"I haven’t done... done anything. Please... please let me go, Irtaza. Please forgive me," she stuttered badly, still trying to free her arm, but it was of no use. His grip was steel-like. With every passing second, he was tightening his hold more on her arm, causing her pain. An unbearable pain. But the adrenaline strolling in her blood was a little too high for her to notice the pain coming from his grip. She was panicking, thinking about what he had saved in for her.
