Chapter 138. Sit Next to Me
"Do you want me to throw more water?" Dua whispered, asking Haseeb and pointing at their grandmother.
"It was that stupid ghost, and I think it's back, Grandma." Haseeb said to his grandmother and ran to his room to change his clothes.
The servants were quick to clean the table and floor. Dua settled in her seat. Her father, uncle, and grandfather, along with her brother, were yet to come to the dining table. The dinner wouldn't start without their presence, so often while waiting for them, she and her cousins pulled such stunts.
The dinner began when everyone joined. Zahra was relieved that Irtaza wasn't at the table. Haseeb had joined them shortly after changing his wet clothes. The group of four people was now invested in a conversation, while the elders were busy in their discussions about the preparations for the coming wedding.
