Chapter 244. Peace
Zahra continued, "But here I am—full of peace. I don’t have any such restlessness. So, you also don’t worry yourself over matters that don’t concern us. I love you the most, Mama. I only have you in this world. Please don't cry like that. It hurts my heart,"
"At least for my sake, be strong. Your tears give me restlessness. I don't want you to cry, Mama," Zahra said and hugged her mother.
"Your father must be so proud of the girl that you've become. I'm very proud of your strength. You didn't fall apart. You kept yourself together jusg for us. You have favoured me, Zahra."
Her mother enveloped her in her arms, and Zahra didn't realize when she dozed off in her mother's embrace.
Ammara looked at the sky, praying for strength. Praying to have half the faith her daughter possessed.
Ammara wanted to be at peace.
