"Who is it?" Shehryaar groaned as he got a call from someone, breaking his deep slumber. He wondered who could be calling him at this hour. He usually set his phone to do-not-disturb mode before sleeping, but he received a call from his emergency phone.

He had instructed his subordinates to call that phone when the matter was urgent and required immediate attention. His mind was working fast, trying to figure out what the emergency could be, and he was quick to deduce that it must be related to Irtaza and Zahra's situation. A lot had been going on in the past few weeks.

First, Irtaza got kidnapped, and they had just recovered him when Zahra was abducted. Irtaza loved his wife deeply, and this was the reason he was not doing mentally fine. He would drown his senses in alcohol just to shut down the memory of his wife, only for those memories to come back with full force.
