Chapter 52. I Am Scared

A frown creased her forehead, "is everything alright?" She asked again.

"I am scared of him," Zahra admitted in her low voice.

"Scared of him?"

"Yes." Zahra subtly nodded, "I am afraid that he will scold me if... he came to know that I was not interested in the dresses he had sent for me. I don't want to be scolded by him... he is scary."

Her grandmother passed her a nod and gave out a small laugh, "Oh Irtaza! Can you not for once stop scaring people?" She said more to herself. "I am aware that he is a little scary... but that's part of his personality. He has to be like that to run the mafia smoothly, people should fear him."

"But the family members shouldn't." Zahra countered.

"You're right, daughter. Family members should not. But he is dominant and scary by birth. It's not a trait he acquired. He already had it and he polished it throughout the years. He should not scare his beautiful, innocent fiancee though. What thing made you get scared of
