Amelia's POV

I walked out of Alessandro's room, wiping the tears that settled at the corners of my eyes.

Alessandro claimed he loved me. Was this what love meant? Why would he treat me this way even after what Russo had done to me?

I gripped the pillar as I walked downstairs. The rotating balls in me were making it difficult for me to walk properly and just as the beast Alessandro was he kept increasing the pace through his phone.

Laughters erupted at the living room as I approached them. Alessandro sat, his legs crossed as he snapped his head backwards, turning to look at me.

"Carry on." He hissed, "why do you stand there, looking so clueless like a dumb kid."

How was I supposed to act normal?

I faked a smile and moved forward with the tray in my hands. I dropped it on the table and served drinks to Alessandro and his visitors.

When I got to the last man, the glass fell from my hand and shattered into pieces.

I
