It’s been so many days now since I have been avoiding Alessandro after he confessed his feelings for me.

It… just felt too odd. Why would he ever love me? Was that just a bait to keep the truth from me?

“Anni, what are you saying? The child is yours. Why do you keep saying these words? It hurts me!” Vesper sobbed and I gasped.

She was pregnant for him and now he’s rejecting it?

Was that why she looked sad that day when she came to meet me at the garden?
