Chapter 12. A Little Strange Feeling

Melvin's car stopped in front of a building, with several people ready to greet him. Melvin stared at Danas, making the girl's body stiffen. As if the man's treatment of her, made an impression, and made her body react when the man made his heavy voice.

"Don't do anything to embarrass me, or you know the consequences," Melvin threatened. Danas nodded slowly. "Good, be a good boy, or you'll know the consequences," Melvin whispered, again giving Danas goosebumps with the last sentence Melvin said.

Someone had opened the car door, making Melvin get out first. The man, instantly stood by the car door, extending his hand.

There was a hesitation when Danas tried to grab that burly hand, even Melvin smiled, making her a little scared. She clearly knew that the man was forced to smile, to cover everything, and didn't want to get gossiped about their relationship not being okay.
