CHRIS'S POV

Zachary waited till she went out of the room. He looked around and then gestured me to sit. I did as he said because frankly I don't have enough strength to fight him more. I've already lost many people and I don't want history to repeat itself. I want nothing more than my September and Claire to remain safe.

"So..." Zachary tried to say something but nothing came out of his mouth.

I had an urge to laugh. The man who never thought twice before unloading his bullets to kill, was now running out of words?

" I want to tell you something, Chris." He continued.

"I know Chris, I have no right to ask for an apology but if possible, try to forgive me. I know that I did wrong with you...I-I tried to kill you, I kept you as a hostage but trust me, I have nothing else to say apart from begging you to forgive me.
