Chapter 118

What Luke said surprised Leo.

Leo frowned. He knew that the two kids weren’t very close to him after everything that had transpired previously. He had thought of some ways, but none of them had worked.

Luke and Rue had quickly gotten to know Grandpa well since they moved in to stay with him.

Leo just didn’t think they would be so far away from him. Grandpa was the one to break the ice in the end.

”You don’t have to thank him. This is what your dad should do.” Mona said and smiled.

Luke didn’t want to hurt his father’s feelings. He thought his relationship with Leo wasn’t particularly close, so this was the only way he could thank him. When he looked back at Mona, he wondered why everyone looked a little odd.

Mona didn’t want to get involved in Leo and Luke’s business. She just walked up and caressed Luke’s head. “Let’s go home.”
