“Why should I get a paternity test with him?” Conan turned Helen down without any warmth. He didn’t feel bad about it, but he really didn’t think it was his child. The “paternity test” would just be a joke.

But Helen grinned a little and added, “You turned me down so quickly. Do you feel bad?”

”It’s pointless to bother me,” Conan remarked with a sneer.

But a deep male voice cut Conan off as soon as he was done talking. “Let’s take the paternity test.”

Conan was shocked when he looked back and saw that his folks had come over quickly.

”Mom, Dad? Why are you here?” Conan didn’t think Helen would tell his parents, and his expression got more and more sad.

But Helen shrugged and replied, “Don’t look at me like that. I didn’t tell them.”

”It doesn’t matter who told us. The most crucial thing to do now is to make sure that this child is related to our family.” Mr. Barney Gray gave Helen a serious look. “Are you sure this kid is really Conan’s son?
