Chapter 70

Mona’s anxiety finally calmed down a little once she got everything ready. She could entirely rest as long as the bidding conference tomorrow went off without a hitch. At that point, two clear voices suddenly came from outside the villa.

”Mom!”

Mona turned to see Luke and Rue running toward her with smiles on their faces. She swiftly squatted down and held on to the two kids.

”Mom, I miss you so much!” Rue said as she smiled.

”I miss you more…” Mona responded.

Luke gave Mona a ring. “This ring has a GPS, so we can find you no matter where you are,” Luke said. “This ring can also be used as an emergency tool to turn your phone into a satellite phone if there is no service.”

Betty, who had been behind them, was surprised. When she observed Luke messing with something in the last several days, she figured he just intended to give Mona a ring. Who would have thought that there would be something so useful inside the ring?

”Thanks, I’ll wear it.”
