She went back to the closet and changed into her nightgown from one of the suitcases. He appeared in the closet and held her close to his body. She let out a sigh of relief, surrendering to his touch as his hands caressed her back. She looked up to his eyes and beamed at him.

“You make me feel safe,” she whispered, glittering.

He smiled happily and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. He loved kissing her. He leaned his forehead on hers. He stared at her eyes without blinking.

“What?” She asked with a chuckle.

“I get amazed whenever I look at you. Not just because of your looks, but because of the fact that everything I’ve ever wanted is right in front of me,” he admitted. She could tell he wasn’t lying. He meant his words. She grinned to reveal her straight, pearly white teeth.
