Chapter 121. Liam's Threat

She glanced sideways then headed into the police cell after tipping the officer on duty to keep his mouth shut. It wasn't hard to get anyone to do what you wanted as long as you had the money.
Again, her head was covered with a veil and she donned a pair of sunshades even though the weather wasn't too sunny. She had to be extra careful if she wanted everything to go smoothly.
Liam, who sat shirtless inside the cell, sprang to his feet the moment he saw his visitor. He already had a scowl, but it became more vicious when he realized who was visiting.
"Hi, Liam." She greeted rather quietly, as she didn't even want his other cell inmate to guess she was the one. "How are you faring?"
