I peered down at Dexter's sleeping face and sighed. Doctor Luca had constantly assured me that he would be fine, but I had yet to understand why he hadn't woken up already.

If Leonardo had succeeded in killing him, I'd have resurrected his dead body and murdered him myself. I low-key wished that I was the one who shot him, but it didn't matter anymore because he was dead and gone.
