Chapter 49. He Completes Her

"Is everything ready?" I asked after he finished with the receptionist and trotted towards me.

He nodded, dangling the keys at me as we both headed to the room he had booked for us.

Though my body was giddy with excitement and anticipation, his present disturbed expression didn't go unnoticed. I just hoped that by the time we were done, he'd feel better.

"Are you alright?" I asked when I couldn't keep it in any more.

"Yes, I'll be." His lips curved into a side smirk as he opened the door.

There was nothing more I could do than hope he'll be fine so I decided not to probe further.

My eyes took in the simplicity of the suite and I smiled.

Trust Dexter to always go for the best.

Before getting into the room, he stopped in front of me and helped out with my bag. He dropped the bag on a counter. "Keep this here, baby, you won't be needing it." The tension was gradually dissipating as his fingers slid down my legs.<
