“Can we come?” Jessie asked, making a cute face.

“Oh, come on, Jessie. Give Mom and Dad some time together. We can play in the pool while we wait for them.” Jansen replied.

“Why are you answering my question?” Jessie asked with a pouty look on her face. She didn’t seem happy with what Jansen had said. I understood Jessie was raised with a lot of love and wealth, so she grew up to be a spoiled child who was used to having everything. Meanwhile, Jansen grew up to be an independent and understanding child even though he didn’t lack affection, it was just that during the time I took care of Jansen, we weren’t used to having everything we wanted.

“That’s it, that’s it, don’t fight. Your Dad and I will catch up as soon as our business is done. Now you come with Lily to play in the pool. Afterward, I’ll make you a nice snack,” I said, trying to persuade them.

“Yeay. We’re waiting for the snack, Mommy,” Jessie exclaimed.
