“The majority voted for Lake to come and take the position of CEO. What do you think, Wallace?” Or this was his strategy.
It felt like my father wasn’t expecting that decision from the boards.
“He resigned and left from his position as the CFO, and now the seat was taken over by Stoll. We should respect his decision.” Of course, he would say that in a polite manner, of course. Deep inside, he was furious with the unanimous decisions and happy that I was gone.
