Reluctantly, I gazed at my hands. Suddenly, I remembered what Mikan said earlier.

Could it be that you have vampire blood, Nicole?

I shook my head. It’s impossible!

A vampire? She must be kidding me. She just enjoys reading about those kinds of creatures; that’s why she thinks of all sorts of things.

But I can’t deny the fact that there’s really something wrong with me.

I grabbed my laptop and slumped onto the bed. The next thing I knew, I was already typing details about vampires.
