“Hey! It’s you again. What are you doing here?”

I quickly ran out of the gate after playing when I saw the young boy who helped me escape when I was kidnapped.

“Hello? Can you hear me?”

I waved my hand in front of him, but he didn’t even blink and just stared at me with a blank expression.

“I didn’t have the chance to say thank you last time. So, thank you,” I shyly said.

Still, he didn’t respond.

But if he’s being snobbish, then I’ll be persistent.

“By the way, I’m Nicole Jane. And you are?”

I extended my arm towards him and then smiled.
