I sighed as I watched Bryan go, my heart breaking for him. If I had been only a minute late, Brianna would be dead. 

“You should talk to him, you know? If he continues like this,...” Brianna started to say but I wasn't having it. 

I snapped my head back and glared at her. “Don't confuse things, I don't give a shit about you Brianna and the fact that you are my aunt doesn't mean jack to me.”

I continued “Let's just say I need you temporarily to find out something about my mate, however the minute I realize you're not useful to me, I will snuff the life out of you myself.”
