Chapter 6. Prefect Yvette

Miatta's POV

I was taken out of the hellhole and sent to the healer who applied a cool salve on my battered back. She brought me some food also and made to go to sleep briefly.

By the time I woke up shortly, I was rejuvenated and ready to run through the jungle unhindered. My wolf paraded in revived pride, her pure white fur clean and nourished.

Athena, the healer was a woman who looked like we were in the same peer group but her wise eyes reminded me of my mother's. She too like the rest of the lycanthrope had dark, intense eyes that saw into your soul, baring you before them.

“You are free to go now, Miatta. Try to be careful not to attract unwanted attention to yourself and you will fare well in our land. Do otherwise and risk this happening again.”
