Silvia POV

I stood frozen in the elegant corridor.

Alpha Sherman’s arm holding me like a prison chain.

Alpha Enzo struggled against the security guards restraining him.

The radio commands from security personnel faded into background noise as I stared at the nightmare unfolding before me, unable to move.

“Silvia, listen to me! I can prove everything!” Alpha Enzo’s hoarse cries pierced through the chaos, his voice carrying an urgency that seemed at odds with his dangerous appearance.

His words seeped through my skin like smoke through cracks.

Keal whimpered anxiously inside me. “Poor Silvia, he said it wasn’t necessarily true,”

I turned to Alpha Shermanmy mate, my husband.

Even though Zack’s betrayal had once broken my heart, I had fought so hard to trust again.

I didn’t want to believe Alpha Sherman had orchestrated this nightmare.

But the fear coiling in my gut grew tighter with each passing second.
