As I was having a conversation with Gabriel in his office, she alerted me via the mind link. Kristine questions Gabriel's actions and believes there may be foul play. I can't blame her, either, because even my closest friend seems like a totally different person after mating for the second time. And my sense that something wasn't right with him only grew stronger following my chat with Gerald and Cassian. It's just not like him to abandon Rosalie and his pups and never bring them up.
