Gabriel's POV

Zeus is furious right now. The Court members adjourned the mating ritual between Rosalie and I, so the Alpha King was powerless to stop him. The last straw, though, was them saying that, so long as he rejects her, she will always be Alpha Derrick's destined mate. 

I instantly shifted into Zeus and bolted into the surrounding foresr, running as though nothing could stop him. He ran for hours on end, with his tongue hanging out of his mouth, until he collapsed by a lake, completely worn out.

'Is Rosy truly not ours, Gabriel? Without her and our pup, how will we manage to survive? Does this imply that the Alpha is free to come get her at any time?'
