Chapter 217

The guard ran as fast as his legs could carry him, panting like he had lost his ability to breathe. He barged into Douglas’s chambers with no courtesy. Douglas jumped out of bed with the concubine next to him naked.

“Have you lost your mind? Who do you think you are to come into my room like that? Do you have a death wish?” he bickered.

The guard waved his hands, leaning against the wall. “The pack is under attack, Alpha. We have been attacked.”

His eyes rounded like saucers, and the only thing Douglas could think of was to run to his closet to grab the royalty stone.
