Chapter 126. Getting Ready to Meet Alpha Dante

It was morning already, and Olive woke up with a soft stir. She fluttered her eyelashes gently, like a butterfly taking its first flight. She yawned and stretched, her arm hitting something hard right beside her on the bed.

“Wayne?” she called out, meeting his eyes as he stared down at her like she was a baby in a crib.

Alpha Knight was sitting up with his back resting against the headboard. He wore no shirt, and he was covered from the waist down by the duvet. Olive loved the sight of his muscular chest right there beside her.

“Morning,” he said, smiling at her. She rubbed her eyes and then hugged his legs, resting her head just below his torso.

“Morning,” she replied, laying her head on his thighs. She closed her eyes and exhaled. Wayne’s fingers ran softly through her hair, giving her the shivers.
