Chapter 120. Threshold of Confrontation

Anastasia POV

The idea of confronting Raven fills me with fear and uncertainty, but also with a fierce determination that burns inside me like an unquenchable flame. Even so, a part of me wants to simply run away, leave everything behind, and never return. But I know I cannot do that. Not now, when so many lives depend on me.

"And what if I fail, Everly? What if I am not strong enough?" I ask quietly, my voice a whisper lost in the roar of the engine.

I take a deep breath, trying to calm the storm within me, as the car advances along the winding road leading to my destination. Each kilometer brings me closer to Moongrave, to Raven, and to the confrontation that will decide not only our fate but the fate of everyone I love.

"We will not fail, Anastasia. We are strong enough; I am sure of it. I am here with you and will be with you forever," Everly comments firmly, her voice an anchor that brings me comfort and security. I feel her support a
