My roar makes Anastasia tremble along with the floor and windows. My patience is wearing thin with this stubborn and naïve girl. She remains on the ground, hands on her neck, massaging the spot where I choked her. I didn't even use my full brutal force on her, just enough pressure that I could certainly use on her again if she asked in a more favorable situation.

"I can't believe you're thinking of fucking her right now, Rowan!" my wolf, Neil, comments incredulously and impatiently. His voice resonates in my mind with a clarity only he can have. "Keep your focus on what we need, the crystal!"
