Chapter 71

"I love you too, Alaric" I whispered as tears streamed down from my eyes. This was literally the sweetest thing anyone had ever said to me.

I have never thought he was the type to do something like this but damn this makes me really happy.

"I don't know why im fucking nervous," he chuckled as we both burst out in laughter.

"It's fine," I replied amidst my laughter.

"Lenora Hunter,   will you be my forever?" He asked as he brought out a white little box containing a shining silver ring with diamonds laced on it.

"Yes, yes!" I squeaked. He wore the ring on my finger before standing back on his two feet.

I instantly jumped on him with my arms around his neck while I kissed him passionately. 

"Please be gentle with the hugs, you're carrying our little wolf in there" he cautioned and at the thought of it, I became gentle but at the same time I didn't think just a hug
