Chapter 70

It's been 2 weeks since Adolph left the Palace and it has also been 2 weeks since I declared my love for Alaric. Everything has been working just fine for us ever since and I sincerely hope that it'll last forever.

I do not wish to encounter any more problems, I've suffered enough since I was born and I could say I needed to feel nothing but joy henceforth. 

Tala and Clara on the other hand have been suffering in the same cell for two weeks, they've been eating fine as I promised but their food has always been laced with wolfsbane. 

I made sure to put a trusted person who would be in charge of that, I didn't want it to be a situation whereby they get to be pitied. 

At first they were reluctant to eat their food and that went on for only three or four days as their body cried for food. They had no choice but to eat what would slowly kill them eventually.

I was also out of my heating stage and Alaric was finally ready to mark me.
