Chapter 79. Take Over

"ANGELINA!" Hiro shouted, pushing Yna away from me. He held me closer to him. Between his arms, he enveloped me. The way his voice raised scared me as well. Yna breathes heavily in an attempt to stop herself from shouting and doing something that could hurt me and irritate Hiro.

I could've just stared at them, doing the conversation, saving me from humiliation. I could've let Hiro do the talking, and scolded Yna because of what she did that I don't even understand. Standing like a statue here won't do. Gently, I removed Hiro's arms wrapped around my shoulder. Facing Yna, I examined her. I looked around.

"What did I do to him? Scratch his face? Slit his throat? Even cut his wrist? How did I do that when I'm here, unconscious, gaining back the energy I lost the last time I made a contact with the enemy?" I say, crossing my arms across my chest. I looked at Yna fiercely and examined her.
